I'm Chenxu Bai, an undergraduate student majoring in Robotic Engineering at College of Engineering, Peking University.

Experiences

My work focuses on scientific computing, mainly for ABACUS (原子算筹, Atomic-orbital Based Ab-initio Computation at UStc), which is an open-source package (GitHub Repo: abacus-develop ) based on density functional theory (DFT), aiming for large-scale electronic-structure simulations from first principles.

My contributions include:

• Binding certain modules of ABACUS to Python (Pythonization of ABACUS)
• Maintaining and refactoring parts of the source code of ABACUS
